I knew a friend of a friend of the ex's that was a teacher. In her mid-20's, hot as all hell (seriously, one of the more beautiful women I've ever met), and we were at the first friends house and the teacher (friend of the friend) stated that she having an affair with one of her students. Knew it was wrong, but called him an "old soul." Literally, this woman could have had any guy she wanted, but she carried on this affair with the kid for quite a while.

These chicks who do this see the raw desire and passions that these kids just coming into manhood have, and it attracts them. There's none of the stuff that they have to deal with with "men." Boys write poetry and want to know love and all that bullshit. Chicks get off on that shit. They see a person uncorrupted by just those few years between high school and college and afterwards. It's the purity of the desire that attracts them.
