Although it should be pointed out that everyone using the QB issue as an excuse for Haley should look at the job Harbaugh is doing with a QB who got two other head coaches fired...

Harbaugh is doing a great job of getting the rest of that team to play up to the level of thier talent.

The 9ers have more talent and depth than the Chiefs do at this point, and the Chiefs just can not overcome the lack of depth at some key positions.

But when they get into the playoffs, they will need a QB that can toe ot toe with the likes of Rodger, Brees, and Eli Manning.

Do you believe that Alex Smith is that guy?

JFC, dumbass.

They are all football people talking about football.

Who gives a rat's ass about their different pedigrees?

Nobody believed Smith was the guy to win more than 4 games this year.

Alex Smith is winning games the same way that Steve Bono won games.

2500 yards and 15 touchdowns in 13 games. Epitome of game manager.

He has four 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives this year. He's been able to help carry the team late in games.

Cassel is a garbage QB that went from being on the verge of being cut in training camp to getting 60 million the following off-season. The common denominator is Scott Pioli, not the cheap owner.

If Pioli could hit on a QB, this whole situation would be a lot more "bright eyed".

As soon as anybody starts screaming the issue is Clark is cheap I immediately devalue anything else they have to say.

He is paying Pioli premium $$ to do his job. Haley was making something like $3MM a year. RAC is said ot be making over $1MM as DC and bet Weis was as well.

They gave Cassel $60MM for **** sake. They picked up Orton for $2MM with 6 games left in the season.

Resigned Hali, DJ, and JC.

It's not about what you spend its how you spend it. The issue is where the $ is being spent.

Exactly. TheBadGuy was defending Clark and calling Pioli out. Read between the lines.

I'd say Jerry Rice has the least amount of personality and composure forming sentences and opinions on TV.... so I'd go with him.

:D
