Absolutely,we love eating there,the salad bar is even amazing.

I suspect we all eat at these places on occasion. Most of the time (in my opinion) the food's not bad. It's just not inspired.

Except for Chili's. Chili's chefs are there because they love their work and they make great food available for America's fast casual diners.

My decision to search for and then post that picture was not a good one. I'm craving one now. I apologize profusely for this. :banghead:

Olive Garden is the most overrated followed by Red Lobster.

We should just simplify this and say that all Darden restaurants are overrated. I might exclude Longhorn from that generality.

have you guys had bad service at olive garden? i have a friend who works there now so its cool but before it always seemed the servers were pissed off all the time because they had to keep getting breadsticks

Exclude Capital Grille... I'll usually go to a local place first, even though Capital Grille is excellent.

Meh. I've been twice. Wasn't impressed either time. The food wasn't bad, by any means, but for the price, I expected much better.

Never had a problem with their service. My gf ordered chicken alfredo and it looked like a kids plate. OG is the shit, great food.

Threads like this are always interesting because what we don't get to see is what people have as their expectation, and what other restaurants (and their expectations) to which they are being compared.

It's the culinary version of this illusion, where A and B are the exact same color, but don't look it.

I was pretty skeptical the first time I went, thinking it couldn't beat out the Majestic Steakhouse, but the steak was surprisingly good... no great sides or dessert from what I remember though.
