Players from FA ain't what they used to be either. The new rookie scale only changes the top 10 or so players. The Eagles' Dream Team was a disaster.

Personally I would hope that we could trade down to last part of the top 10 and draft DL Sheldon Richardson. Sign Chris Canty and have Canty/Poe/Richardson on the front line. If TJax is willing to take a massive pay cut then do it. If not then cya later.

Kolb looked good in Philly. Who knows how he would have looked had he stayed.

Kolb didn't look good in Philly. At best, he looked adequate.

Here's a something new that needed to be expressed on this forum.

Sweet Daddy Hate 02-24-2013 10:32 AM

yeah, lets instead express the most dumbassed hypothetical of all where we draft a tackle and move albert to guard. I swear to god, some of you mother****ers lick asbestos for a living and drink sternol at lunch time. Please stop with this useless shit.

Branden Albert is a free agent. So was Eric Winston. Most people want to go into next season with two guys who were FA's as our offensive tackles.

80 percent of Chiefs fans eat leftovers for dinner every damn night and just keep going back for more with a smile on their faces.

I fully expect this to happen. I believe we will sign/trade for Nick Foles and draft either Barkley, Bray, or Wilson in the 2nd and Cassel will be asked to take a major pay cut or he will be released. Depending on what happens w/ Cassel, Quinn or Stanzi will either be cut or will be given 1-yr deals (or however long Stanzi has left on his deal).

Albert will move to guard if we draft Joeckel. That's going to piss off a lot of the armchair GM's here at Chiefsplanet, but that's what will happen. Either that or Joeckel will play guard which would piss off even more CP armchair GM's. 1 of the 2 will happen if Albert is resigned and Joeckel is drafted at 1-1.

1. OT Joeckel
2. QB Barkley/Bray/Wilson
3. QB Nick Foles trade
3. CB David Amerson

Rounds 4-7 I'd go in this order:
4. RB Lattimore or OLB Jones (if he's drops to this spot)
5. ILB Klein
6. CB Mathieu

BUT....if this spinal thing is going to have Jones drop really far and even into the 2nd day I think you absolutely take that gamble in the 4th rd instead of Lattimore.

And I also think we go for another QB next season as well.

Awesome! We're drafting Geno now!

"CB/S/WR/LB position from FA" These make me nervous. Of course there is a new sheriff in town but his last dip in FA was not so nice.

Oh, OK. So FA tackles are OK, but you can't find a FA worth a darn at CB/S/WR/LB. Got it.

Dwayne Bowe is a free agent. A lot of people want the Chiefs to resign him. Are you ready to let him go?

It is about you suggesting an LT at #1, Patt. That I really don't care for. EVerything from us then forward is less relevant.

You must have me confused with someone else.

Would not be the first time, nor the last.
