Kissel isn't bad. He can't just be "Go **** your mothers, we're taking a QB!" since he has to cover ALL possibilities. It's his job.

He does good work in his youtube videos. I like them a lot. And throughout this entire 2-14 season and offseason leading up to the Alex Smith trade, he was pretty damn enthusiastic about the QBs in the draft. Talked (and wrote) a lot about each one. He's also kept the offensive line talk to a minimum throughout this entire process.

Smith is the "free agent" acquisition. He's the stop gap. You don't put another stop gap behind him.

The Eagles have been very active with the QB position; signing 3 QBs since Kelly's arrival...Foles [and Edwards] WASN'T one of them.. I don't think he [Foles] is off limits...

I'd gladly take Foles, their 4th pick, their 2nd rounder, and a 2nd next year for the first overall pick.
