Yes. Time to fall off the face of the earth again for a few years. Same old sorry as Lions, Browns, CHIEFS...

Owens is the only corner we have now under 6'. Dorsey and the defensive staff obviously prefer bigger, taller, and faster corners.

Hali will be the next to go, then DJ, then Bowe, then Charles. No rings for any of them.

Sure was fun to watch them play for shit quarterbacks, shit coaches and shit GMs though.

The cupboard will soon be bare.

Bring in the next batch. More meat for the grinder.

Did what needed to be done. The chiefs have way too many guys under performing and overpaid. We need our young guys to really step up to get rid of even more overpaid players next next season. Pretty damn hard to have a complete team when you're forced to overpay guys like devito, smith, etc. Because none of the guys on rookie contracts are worth a damn.

That made literally no sense. Flowers had to be cut in order for them to use his money to re-sign a player. You're trying to say they should have re-signed a player before cutting him.

Should have been done earlier if they were going to do it. Was waiting till after June 1 worth the opportunity cost?

Brando 06-13-2014 08:56 PM

This is what the Pats have done for years. It's better to let go of these guys a year too early than a year too late.
Clay, once again your agenda is showing. Sometimes tough football decisions have to be made. That's what this was. You want to blame someone, blame Peehole E for letting Carr walk.

It made perfect sense...cut him EARLY & USE THE $$$$. You constantly try to put words in my mouth instead of trying to improve your own comprehension.

You might want to read around and see why they couldn't cut him early first...

 Yes. It was the only way to save the 7.5 mil this year. That money can go to Houston or Smith now. If they cut him early, they wouldn't have had that money.

The Pats can justify it with rings, though not recently...FWIW, I always felt Carr was better. Flowers was always getting dinged up.
