Thorn is terrible. Think if you put Jamari Traylor on his team, with those minutes. He would get 10 and 6 pretty easily, and you know, block more shots. Which is, uh, pretty important. Dont get the infatuation with this kid unless Mickelson is grad early or Lucas is leaving

There is virtually no way they dont get at least a 2seed, and they have a shot at the 2nd #1 seed behind Virginia. This team is going to be really good if they vet a rim protector like Diallo, or let Mickelson play instead of Jamari Traylor

Lunardi is ****ing high as shit if he thinks this team is worthy of a top 3.

We will be, depending on the recruits we get.

KC_Connection 04-08-2015 02:47 AM

They were a #2 seed with a primary guard in Selden having a horrific offensive season while getting very little out of the 5 spot (Cliff/Traylor/Lucas) for most of the year. Hard to see it getting worse than that.

Harrisons going pro.

@rustindodd: Perry Ellis still considering whether to enter NBA Draft, family says, has requested information on draft stock: http://t.co/vwEgx7xbru

Did the same last year (so it's rather meaningless), but I hope they lie to him. LMAO

I wonder who we'd get. That'd be four available schollys right?

Chiefs Pantalones 04-08-2015 05:09 PM

Dakari Johnson gone now. That's 3 gone for UK with 4 more deciding soon & 3 of those are forgone conclusions...Cal has to be hitting the recruiting trail hard now.

Mr. Plow 04-08-2015 06:25 PM

Someone post to Twitter that they are hearing from multiple NBA sources that Perry Ellis is being projected as a borderline lottery pick.

That should be enough to convince him to leave. Lol.

Saccopoo 04-09-2015 12:52 AM

You guys are dipshits.

Ellis is a stud.

If he leaves, this team is seriously ****ed. None of these guys are worth a shit.

And putting your faith in "to be signed freshman?" Jesus...

I don't think they are. Yes, we'd miss his scoring, but he gives up a LOT of points on the defensive end. I've come around to the thinking that his softness on defense is contagious. Playing defense takes some skill, yes, but he doesn't hustle on defense like he should and could. He's quick and athletic. He should be able to AT LEAST stay in front of people driving on him. He can't, though, and I don't know why. It's mental, I guess. But you can't say that's he's as intense on defense as he needs to be, and I think that spreads. He has some times where he runs the floor and blocks someone or does something similar that makes you think "Why can't he do this more often?" He can. He just doesn't.

So, a freshman may not be better, either offensively or defensively. But maybe they'll try harder. And hopefully that's contagious. I think floor slapping is utterly ridiculous, but at least it shows that the team is fired up to play defense. When we have teams like that under Self, we make it pretty far (see: 2008, 2012).

That is Rustshack-level homerism.

He's only a homer for Utah based teams. He probably watched Ellis during his good stretch this season and came to that conclusion.
