If the Blues offered you David Backes, Alexander Steen and Jay Bouwmeester for Mike Ribiero and Barrett Jackman, would you be interested?

Because seriously, I'd give you Backes and Steen just to clear Jay Bouwmeester from our books. I don't want Ribiero and Jackman either, but you need to clear about $4 million from your cap to take on the $15.5 that those 3 would add to it.

It's essentially giving you another scoring line and all you have to do is take Jay Bouwmeester and his contract off our hands.

Apparently the Kings and Anze Kopitar are close on an 8 year, $80 million contract. It's been quite a process, apparently. But great for the Kings (and Kopi) if true.

I'm also hearing that the Lightning could be dealing Jonathan Drouin soon. The Ducks are a strong possibility. They've climbed back into contention again.

These were our seats the other night. I am not a hockey fan but forget how much fun NHL games are to attend in person. And tickets are about as reasonable as you can get.

Nice... the speed of the game live from the lower bowl is unbelievable. I don't care for the Coyotes much, but I wouldn't mind if they relocate here one day. :D
