I'm about to buy an authentic Nike Elite Justin Houston jersey as we speak. I was waiting on how his contract situation was gonna go down. Awesome.

Best part is Denver fans are pissed because it up the price Von will want and the Donkeys may not be able to afford it without some painful cuts to other players.

Guess the Chiefs weren't willing to collude with them.

There was a report that the Kansas City Chiefs could have interest in free agent G Evan Mathis, who was cut earlier this week by the Philadelphia Eagles.

That's not the case, Andy Reid says.

The Chiefs coach told the media on Thursday that the Chiefs are not looking at Mathis. He couldn't have been more clear.

Mathis has ties to Andy Reid so it's no surprise folks were talking about him as an option for the Chiefs. But he won't be coming to Kansas City, according to Reid.

They hadn't come to terms with Houston at the time. They might be looking at him now....just sayin. Anything is possible. Especially this off-season.

The last place the Chiefs should spend their new found cap space on is a 34 year old broke dick that played in only nine games last season.

The entire "Hunts are cheap" rhetoric needs to be put to bed. They may not be as aggressive bringing in FAs as the fans would like, but I don't think money is what drives that.

Fact is, the Chiefs don't let their stars get away. The two biggest names to leave KC are Jared Allen and Neil Smith. I don't believe the Chiefs wanted to keep Allen, Smith took less money to play elsewhere because he has shit for brains.

Spot on.

What about chris Myers for a 1 yr contract? Morse probably needs time. Chiefs don't seem very confident in kush. That seems like a much better option than Mathis. Worst case scenario you have extra line depth for a year.

Neil smith got ****ed by his agent in that deal.

Did you ever watch the interview where Neil was told that KC offered him more? He was visably pissed and had to look of a guy that got screwed.

Neil was and is a stupid person. He didn't get ****ed, he was too stupid to understand what he was told.
