Hootie is a much bigger attention-whore IMO. And, he's actually done things to members of the board that could have or did cost them actual money( Fan Gate ). Plus, his worship of Manning is vomit-inducing.

The thing with Clay is, unlike myself, he's still a fan and wants the team to acquire a franchise, HOF QB at any cost, and he won't give up the fight.

I don't know, I've seen this same thing at different boards during my absence and it's usually not a big deal. Most of the time it gets laughed-off. But when you beat the horse to death, it eventually grates on everyone's nerves.

Perhaps Clay will develop some detachment, perhaps not. I really couldn't say.
