With a five-pressure performance against Indy, the #Raiders' defense has totaled 56 (!!) pressures through Week 8 -- ranking 32nd in the NFL.

The Lions rank 31st with... 100 (!!) pressures.

This is no longer on Khalil Mack's absence; it's much, much bigger than that.

Might as well kick the tires but I'd imagine he'll find a better opportunity elsewhere.

As depth behind Ford/Houston (given their injury history), he'd sure be a nice little security blanket for the rest of the season.

He’ll be a Patriot

Shit.

This makes too much sense. Couldn't the Raiders just go ahead and cut Karl Joseph so we could make a play on someone that might actually fit us pretty well?

Obi doesn't really count.

The Rams, sadly, also make a great deal of sense.

If they get him, it might be over. Especially if Talib gets back.

With the beef they have in the middle, it makes it pretty easy for them to widen out their splits, put him in a wide-9 technique and just let him fly at the QB. He's never done much to learn...technique...of any sort. But he still as a good first step and can do enough to push a QB up into that goddamn monster in the middle Donald.

He's a tragically good fit for them. Fowler seemed a strange addition but Irvin can be a one-trick pony that actually suits their weaknesses really well.

Don't underestimate the power of Mahomes/Reid.

Sutton is another story

I actually don’t think he makes a huge difference for New England. Their D isn’t much to worry about regardless.

But the Rams... yeah. That would be no bueno.

O.city 11-03-2018 03:23 PM

Irvin isn’t any good anymore anyway

I love Gruden!

Gruden is absolutely insane. He could have traded Irvin on Tuesday and gotten a good pick for him. Instead, he waits until Saturday and then just outright cuts him. Doing that makes absolutely no sense. He doesn't fit in the 4-3? Fine. But he is an edge rusher with 40 career sacks. Personally, it works for me. It just makes the Faiders weaker now, and takes away a pick that could have helped with the rebuild. But if I was a Faiders fan, I would be pissed. Gruden should look around the stadium some time at the rabid, outlaw fanbase that he's pissing off. One of them is likely crazy enough to go after him. I mean, these aren't your average fan. They're Raider fans. The biggest bunch of thugs and lowlife's on the planet.
