How did we go from wanting to run Erving out of town and not even knowing who Wylie and Reiter were to having such confidence against arguably the best interior line combination in the NFL?

I kinda agree though. Our interior OL may get decimated against the Rams, but at least it won't be because they're all finesse.

So I'll just throw this out there.

One thing I don't worry too much about is our offensive line getting bullied. They may get beat quite a bit because Donald and Suh are daunting, but they are not going to back down.

Fowler didnt do much when KC played Jacksonville....

I really felt that was the key to what the Cardinals did, they kept outside contain so Mahomes could not roll away from pressure. Don't think the Rams have the ability to do the same thing, their strength is up the middle.

The only way teams are going to stop the Chiefs offense is if they keep the ball, win the TOP game and keep Chiefs offense on the sidelines...a Herman Edwards wet dream.

I imagine the Rams will run Gurley 'til his legs fall off and will dare the Chiefs to stop it. Chiefs can't stop the run, they give up 5+ypc (but so do the Rams). Rams should gameplan to control the clock, keep the ball and the Chiefs offense on the sidelines.

I don't think Goff is gonna take 5-7step drop backs all game, not w/ Ford and a healthy Houston salivating across the LOS. That's a recipe of disaster.

I stated this in another thread, but I'd take the under in this game. The Rams are just as bad as the Chiefs are at stopping the run, so Reid needs to feed feed feed feed Kareem Hunt as much as possible.

Final prediction:
Chiefs 23
Rams 20

Load up to stop the run and make Goff try to win the game?
