I’ve been using the example that you can’t shove a cafeteria worker at your office because he very innocently ran into you with a tub of food.

But the more relevant example is… you can’t shove a reporter who sticks a mic in their face. In some cases practically jabbing it in their face. Which is way worse because the reporter is intentionally provoking. Sports leagues are extremely protective of their media even when they can be way too aggressive. Even so much as yelling at reporters is going to cause trouble.

So what makes anyone think it’s acceptable for a kid whose clearly not trying to bother anyone… just trying to get his equipment from point A to point B. Why would the nfl not protect the equipment guy when they’ve done cartwheels to defend media members? I’d be shocked if the nfl didn’t take a strong stand and if they don’t, they’re hypocrites

Yea, that's the issue/takeaway here, and not the people defending Adams and himself, who was clearly the asshole in this situation.

There are plenty of assholes in the world, doesn't mean you need to be a weak ass and overplay your injuries to drum up sympathy for a quick payday.

Again, the fact that you're more upset about that says more about you than anything.

If Adams doesn't want this guy to sue, maybe he shouldn't be an asshole/bully because his team lost. Can you imagine how entitled you have to be to do what he did and follow it up with that half ass apology?

But sure, it was the guy that was just doing his job that's the REAL asshole here!

I said it yesterday.

Paparazzi with a camera gets shoved by a celebrity, charges are filed. This is going exactly the way it should.

htismaqe 10-12-2022 10:42 AM

So now the argument is that the guy is faking being hurt?

JFC, this thread just needs to be Rompered.

WTF kind of weak ass shit is that? LMAO

That's the most beta, pussy ass shit i've read on CP, ever. And i've read a lot of Clay posts....

What part of "accept his apology" wasn't clear?

WEAK would be passing on life changing/family changing money because you feel some type of way about society. STRONG is standing up against dickheads like Adams who think they can just shove people because they think they're better than you. STRONG is taking care of you and your own. **** that "weak" bullshit.

If he's not even remotely hurt (which I'd bet money he wasn't), then this attitude - just hoping your whole life to hit the lawsuit lottery from someone with more money than you over some BS - is everything that's wrong with this country imo.

You can justify a TON of unethical shit by saying "I did it for my family's financial stability". Doesn't make it right.

His apology that he didn't make face to face when he had the opportunity? The one he made on Twitter clearly for PR purposes and not at all genuine? The one where he made excuses for his actions?

He claimed he "immediately" felt bad, but he didn't try to help the guy up, make sure he was alright, and apologize face to face.

When exactly was this man supposed to "shake his hand"?

**** his apology.

You're over here acting like it was an incidental bump. He ****ing shoved him with two hands.

That's not incidental. He didn't HAVE to do that. He coulda just stopped. Or he could just incidentally bumped him. But no, he made a CHOICE to shove.

You know what that is? It's called DISRESPECT.

You wanna shake the hand of the man who just disrespected you like that?

Quite frankly, i don't know how your reaction isn't to get up and shove him back out of pure anger.

I didn't say he was an asshole, idiot, I'm saying you don't have to sue every asshole in the world by drumming up overinflated charges and faking injuries in order to sue someone that has more money than you, thus perpetuating the cycle of weakness and victimhood that clogs up our courts and society that many of you complain about on a daily basis, yet somehow it's Devante Adams so this time it's okay. Your hypocrisy is hilarious as per usual, I doubt if this was Travis Kelce doing this you would be saying he needs to pay up. Don't say that statement isn't true because we all know it is, this board would be on Kelce's side 100% and not saying he's some rich guy who deserves to pay the little guy a slice. Be consistent, either support frivolous lawsuits, weakness, victimhood, and we deserve your money, or stand up against the weak in the country and call it for what it was, a push to the ground, dust yourself off and go about your life. Whiplash? Possible small concussion and a headache? Sorry, that's just utter bullshit.

You're a ****ing moron. If that was Travis Kelce, my opinion wouldn't change one bit.

I'm clearly not the one that has issues seeing right from wrong.

I bet if that were a women he shoved, you wouldn't have an issue with charges or him being sued. You're the hypocrite here, not me.

htismaqe 10-12-2022 10:54 AM

Yep, the injuries are fake. No way he was hurt.

:doh!:

staylor26 10-12-2022 10:54 AM

I'm just going to say it, because I know I'm not the only one that sees it, jettio/Gravedigger/suzzer all have one thing in common...
