Dear DUUUUUVVVVVAAAAALLLLLLians, please play fast AF and plan to blitz Mahomes frequently. What could possibly go wrong..... |

I had one to add, but not coming to mind. Paper Champions would be a good one, which you'd think people around here would understand given the meme status of the Chargers, yet this year it's the Bills and 49ers. |

I mean they're not gonna hold this offense to 17 points. I don't care if they 'take the air out of the football' or whatever other nonsense the talking heads will call for this week. If they're going to win, they need to put up 34. Because if they have 27 and the Chiefs need to get to 30, they will. It's gonna take 34 plus points to win the game and they're not gonna do that buy giving Etienne the ball 24 times. |
The only thing that can keep this game close is rookie mistakes.
And at this point, our rookies have played so many snaps, that's not gonna happen. |
We used to have some pretty quality Jags fans come through. How did we end up with this simpleton jagoff?

In the last meeting KC lost the turnover battle 3-0 and still won by 10. Lawrence played a solid game last time. Bottom line, Jacksonville’s secondary is not good enough to hang in this game. If Jax upgrades their secondary and finds a number 1 WR this off-season, I could see them running with the big boys in the AFC.

I think the Jags are a few pieces away and continued Trevor Lawrence development away from being a mean, tough team to beat. I really, really like their foundation. This game will be great for them; get that experience under their belt and when they come back next year, hopefully take their progress another step further and challenge the Chiefs/Bengals for AFC supremacy (I believe the Bills are going to regress under their coming cap crunch).
If I'm a realistic Jags fan, I want to see Lawrence play without fear, uncork a few gorgeous, bold throws. I want to see the defensive line apply some good pressure. I want to see Etienne spring one for a long TD. Get some highlights to build off of. There is just no way in Hades that Mahomes, who carved up the Jags earlier in the season, is going to be slowed down very much in this game. Andy Reid was a step ahead of Mike Caldwell last time they played. The Chiefs got a couple touchdowns and a lot of yards eating off bad scheme mistakes the Jags defenders made. The Jags defense has gotten a lot better schematically. There's not blown coverage the way there was when we last played. But I honestly think Andy's still going to find chinks in the armor. Mahomes is still going to bob and weave a good Jags passrush, and he's going to score in 12 play drives instead of 8 play drives. The Chiefs may not punt in the first half. I bet Trevor Lawrence and Pederson put up some numbers in this game, especially as the Chiefs get ahead and call off the dogs. But if the Chiefs are dialed in, I don't think there's any way they aren't ahead by 14-20 points at the start of the 4th quarter and walk themselves to victory. |

Does this guy even watch NFL football? That is a great day running the ball at nearly 6 ypc. Of course, the Chiefs don't run as often as most other teams but that's just Andy Reid's way. And who can blame him when he has a future HOFer at QB? |
Chiefs have a really tough path to the Super Bowl if they don’t win this game imo
