Can’t imagine most players wouldn’t want to play here. That doesn’t mean they will take a discount to do it though.

No but Mahomes contract is a steal right now... If we got him our offensive line would have early 2000's potential

It is a steal and always will be based on how high QB contracts are going. I am not against bringing in Tunsil to give us an early 2000s line, but this team will be fine without him. They finished 14-3 and won the SB with Brown Jr and Wylie at our T spots. I feel confident that they can continue that as long as they don’t have a SB 55 line.

I think his ankle and body in general would disagree with you.

patrick got banged up these last two years for sure

solidifying the line so he has no more bad injuries accumulating into his 30s would set the franchise up better for when his body finally does start to deteriorate in his mid 30s

patrick has now had three pretty bad lower body injuries and played through all three, you'd like to stop the accumulation of issues there before something really bad happens

thank god nothing has gone wrong with his upper body

It's 23% of the cap. In '22, it was 17% and no team had won the SB with a single player (QB) counting more than 13% EVER.
