He'd only be 35... that's still at least 5 SBs in the tank.

* So does Des Moines

And KC gets Taylor Swift concerts and the World Cup....because we are a major league city. Perception vs reality.

Which is why Arrowhead 2.0 at the legends and Royals Park in OP KS makes so much sense!

Look at Vegas as an example. They had zero reason to want a franchise and now they have two, and possibly a third.

What exactly about the numbers is flawed?

I'd go out on a limb to assume it's highly lucrative for those involved and the city officials who so badly want new stadiums, but not so much for the city or residents.

Do you want Taylor Swift concerts or to be like Tulsa? You better give the franchise who's had like 4 winning seasons in your life billions

If this doesn't pass, the residents of KC are really going to regret it. As someone who experienced the devastating loss of the Chargers who moved out of SD, it really damaged the city's economy as a whole and ruined their fanbase. SD fans hate LA and they will never root for an LA based sports team. The loss of fanbase within the state of Misouri cannot be understated.

Of the city itself? Even if both teams relocate: doubtful.
