LMAO

Considering the last two guys who were on the cusp of a half year suspension didn't take that threat at all seriously, I think they will bring him back when they are 100% sure he has learned an actual lesson. And they aren't going to just trust that the nfl suspension will cover it. If that means rashee didn't feel it enough in those games or you feel he needs to earn his starting job back, you extend it longer. Andy has shown many many times he isn't afraid to leave someone in his doghouse even when we need them

Yes I feel Andy is confident enough in his team that he won't do this a moment sooner. And he is not afraid to lose a guy if he doesn't want to respect his authority.

It was already a mistake to allow him to stay involved with the team. They aren't going to make the same mostake and bring him back sooner than he is ready.

No guns were involved this time. Progress.

Take this FWIW, which might be zero, but Steven St. John on 810 this morning said that according to his source in the Dallas PD:

1. The photographer's jaw was broken
2. A member of Rice's crew pulled a gun on him

We should find out soon enough on No. 1, and I would assume there could be security cam footage of No. 2 if it happened.

So, if they happen to let him stay working out with the team and going to anything not forbidden by an NFL suspension does that mean he learned his lesson?

You do realize the chiefs already gave him a second chance in defiance of public opinion.

In defiance of public opinion? Did I miss that vote?

His jaw was broken, yet all the report (also from Dallas PD) said was that he had some swelling in the left side of his face?

Yea, I'm calling bullshit.

I'm sure there was low voter turnout, considering most people outside of CP don't give two shits about this story.

Rashee isn't going to learn his lesson if he knows he just needs to serve his time and then he's a celebrity again. He's only going to take this shit seriously if the chiefs make it clear they have no problem cutting him. He isn't gonna learn shit until he realizes everything he has can be taken away.

The chiefs welcoming him back with open arms was already a mistake. He treated it like he was back and all the legal and suspension shit was just a setback. And with the threat of jail, almost killing someone, a certain long ass suspension, and with I'm sure a very stern warning from Andy and Clark NONE of that shit seemed to register with him. So if a man isn't even remotely threatened by some of the worst consequences possible, it's going to take a lot to make this get through his thick skull

Welp. If that's accurate and there's footage of it Rice may well be gone for the year.

Kansas city fans like myself were fine with it since we want to win. I'd say it was a consensus outside of Kansas city that it felt a bit soon. Rashee participating in drills even if remotely raised plenty of eyebrows.
