Raider fans unite and send thank you cards to the nfl officiating office. The only reason you guys won was because of the refs. Take back the ko return where the raiders did an obvious block in the back and give us our ko return that there was no penalty on and were 6-2:

Bowe catches that ball and it's game over.
You have to go for it in OT, punting the ball from your endzone to a team with a kicker like Janikowski is just asking to lose the game, even without the nice pass that went by Flowers. Oakland wanted it more. |

You stupid mother ****ing losers, I told you ****ing Hillbillys that your team was a ****ing fraud.
Hows that crow tatste, you bitch ass Sister banging ****s! And Brandon Flowers? LMAFAOROFLMAO The Raiders own the Chiefs, and dont ever forget that bitch |

Weis, for giving the ball to Jones 19 times for 32 yards when Charles was averaging 5.6 ypc. Weis and/or Cassel for throwing a 1-yard pass to Pope on 3rd and 3 in overtime. Jones for not getting it done today. Bowe for a .500 fielding percentage. Flowers in a rare bad performance. Travis Daniels for half-assing the coverage on that kickoff return. Studebaker for costing us 3 points and also drawing a 30-yard penalty on a kickoff. Probably others, too. |

I have no idea who Jacoby Ford is, but he's the luckiest guy in the universe (other than being signed by the Raiders).

Well the Raiders went for the win in OT and the Chiefs looked like they wanted to run out the clock I guess.

Does anybody cheat more than the Raiders. They cheat so damn much that the refs can't call everything.

So, is the consensus that Haley's 4th down gambles and trick plays are still a good thing or not?

The Raiders had more turnovers.
The Raiders had 5 billion penalties. The chances that they win that game are so low Dick Vermiel's head exploded. We had to TRY and lose to get todays result. **** you Chiefs. We are not a good team. |
I called this loss.
The Raiders HAD to have this game. If we win their season is essentially over. They still won't make the playoffs. |

But remember, the East Bay Convicts still need to visit KC, shitdick. |
Hey Chiefs
How You Like Us Now? Chiefs winning streak against Raiders in Oakland is over. There will be no season sweep from you, Denver, or San Diego against us this year. |

Also
You guys put up a helluva fight, close game like all Raiders-Chiefs games are. I gotta give you credit, your G.M. is very good in drafting quality players that were captains on their respective teams. Haley, as much as I dislike him, is a good coach. The rematch in your house will be no different. Good Game Chief Fans. |
Hopefully this will teach the young Chiefs to convert 3rd downs and score TDs in the redzone.

This was a really bad game by both teams. It was played terribly, officiated horribly and we still found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I lost 3 hours of my life watching that abortion.
|
This was possible the worst officiated game I have seen. Both teams were given multiple chances top put points on the board. We just took advantage when it mattered most. Any other year the 4th Qtr would have been a lock for opposing teams. Not so much this year.

In the overtime, Cassel got the ball to his receivers. One couldn't shake his defender, and the other couldn't even hold on to the damned ball. Blaming Cassel is about as idiotic as it gets. That "A good QB doesn't do that" bullshit ramps it up to even higher levels, considering that all QBs do what you're bitching about. |
Quote:
I think the major difference was that the Raiders coaches stayed aggressive until the end and their skill players executed in the clutch, our coaches and players shit the bed. |
we got some bad calls .. they did too .. we had chances to win .. we didnt .. but all in all we need another WR and we need Mc Cluster bak in ball games .......

I think we have a good young team that lacks the killer instinct to finish games, typical of young teams. |

You shouldn't even have a guy running a 1-yard route on 3rd and 3. That's what kills me. |

meanwhile Campbell won oakland the game with 2 clutch drives in a row..... but let's not do anything that would hurt Matty's tender feelings....he tried hard, and that's what matters.. |

LMAOLMAOLMAOLMAO You called this loss? Sure buddy. You were telling us all week how the Chiefs were going to dominate the Raiders. Don't be a bitch now that the Chiefs loss to try to save face and say "You called the loss." |
Quote:
I agree, the Refs were equally bad for both teams. They really looked inept out there at times. Probably the worst, officiated game I can remember, that I watched all the way through. Still, Oakland made the plays when they had to, and KC didnt. Sad, but true! :-( |
That was emotionally draining to say the least. If one were to try to assign blame, I would say there is plenty to go around.
McGraw dropping a pick, Berry with a block in the back on a punt return for a TD, Bowe and Moeaki, Cassel, Weis, Haley, just off of the top of my head (which still hurts). The game was poorly called, but there were shitty calls both ways. All I can take from this is that if I were told we would be 5-3 and in first place after 8 games, I would have taken it. |
Quote:
Problem with that route was the Pope was running sideways with a defender draped on him, it would have been tough to get the first even if he caught the ball. That pattern can work if no one picks him like, like a pass to a fullback in the flat. But the second Cassel saw a defender close by, he should have scanned the field, others were open past the sticks. I am sure there is a pic in the Gif'd up thread showing that, knowing the Horsey. |

I dunno, maybe Weis has taught him to do that, to eliminate sacks and minimize chances Cassel will make the wrong read, and they figure more often than not Cassel will complete the pass and they'll get positive yardage. But it makes for frustrating moments when you see open guys elsewhere, where if he had just taken another second or two to scan the field he could've had a big play. |
