You're practicing selective listening. I'm not going to argue with you. I have far too much respect for your racing knowledge to do that. This time however, it is fairly clear (to me, obviously not to you) that Newman was already there and Montoya drifted up into him. What happened next was that Montoya acted like a little bitch and tried to take him out. After the race he then ran off rather than confront Newman or even talk to reporters about it

The 39 should have given more room in the first mix up the 2nd time was just a pouty chickenshit move by the 42. I hope the 39 plants him in the wall next week~

Newman says he's going to "take care of it after the race". I hope Fox gets it on air!

Then he chicken out & runs to the red hauler!

Montoya would have beat the shit out no neck --

Perhaps a few cut and paste articles would lead you down the right path?

Old Dog 05-01-2011 09:05 AM

Standings in the OP have been updated. I like the new points system much better. It's a lot easier to see who would need what to get in position.

I wonder when ChiefsPlanet became the single most important go-to source for NASCAR information and news?

HEAD OF THE CLASS!

RICHMOND, VA - APRIL 30: Kyle Busch, driver of the #18 M&M's Pretzel Toyota, celebrates in victory lane
after winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Crown Royal Presents The Matthew & Daniel Hansen 400
at Richmond International Raceway on April 30, 2011 in Richmond, Virginia.

Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin share in 1-2 finish in a race filled with impatience
from Ryan Newman, Busch keeps his cool to win the Crown Royal 400.

Congratulations to Kyle Busch and his fans!

Oh I was a little irritated last night and overreacted a bit. When you reply to someone and they dismiss you and wonder if they are the only one watching. That implies that my observation was so far off that I simply could not be watching the same race, or do not know what I am talking about. 99% of the time I would have let it go, I guess last night was the other 1% ;)

Kahne on the pole.

181.254mph. At Darlington! Holy shit.

chefsos 05-06-2011 07:54 PM

BTW, the company I work for got a call from Michael Waltrip Racing the other day. If we supply a couple of campers for them at Dover, we can get some tickets, pit passes, etc., and a decal on the quarterpanel of one of the cars. My boss is thinking about it...

Hey, kstater -- why don't you try telling us something about NASCAR, when talking smartass talk?
