That's a little extreme.

I mean, where would KnowMo sleep?

See? That's called realistic expectations. You should try it sometime.

I expect to win in Denver. We have a whole extra week to prepare for the biggest game of the year.

Denver- they're really good, and I'm really biased.
Seattle- great defense, above average offense.
New Orleans- great offense, above average defense.
Cincinnati- very good on both sides of the ball.
Indianapolis- above average on both sides of the ball.
KC- great defense, wretched offense.
Green Bay- great offense, defense is surprisingly average.
San Francisco- I guess they deserve to be here, but I don't like them for some reason.

RealSNR 10-29-2013 10:22 AM

I really wish the Bengals would have lost that game against the Packers so people would stop overrating them.

We've never tried to give the game away to any of the teams we've beaten. And no, close wins does not equal giving the game away.

The Packers gave that game to the Bengals.

RealSNR 10-29-2013 10:40 AM

1. Kansas City Chiefs- Andy Reid is in the zone

2-31. A bunch of other teams

32. Denver Broncos- Woodyard sucks. Assweiler sucks. Chris Clark sucks. Duke Ieatdookie sucks. They've got a pretty good punter, though.

With a late turnover? Yeah, KC hasn't won any games due to a late turnover.

It wasn't just the Jonathan Franklin fumble. It was giving up the huge lead. Being stupid with playcalling. Aaron played like crap in the 2nd half.

The Bengals needed to get a turnover to get a lead. We were on top, then got turnovers to ice the game against Houston and Cleveland. That's waaay different.

And up until those moments, our defense was playing very well in the 4th quarter.

Jamaal is playing great, but we desparately need some of big plays he used to make. His longest run is like 24yds this season. Let's mix in some 40-50 yarders, not to mention the 80+ yd home run TDs.

That's definitely been noticable this year. The absence of JC home runs. I feel like it's a consequence of the scheme and O-line though.

I think having Jamaal Charles makes the offense better than wretched. The guy is one of the best offensive players in the league, you gotta admit. Plus Alex does alright occasionally. He adds an element with his running ability.

You're correct. I'm not a fan of this running scheme so far.

Yeah.

What I'm getting at is that it's not that JC is "dropping off" as such.

I don't get how the Chiefs get knocked down a notch after a very sound beating of the Browns, when the Broncos were nearly embarrassed at home by the ****ing Redskins. All this proves is these hacks just look at the scores and don't actually watch the game.

If you click the link he explained his reasoning...

Quote:

Can't leave the Chiefs at No. 1 after they struggled all afternoon -- at home, mind you -- to beat a Cleveland team starting Jason Campbell at quarterback and Willis McGahee at tailback. Yes, Kansas City is ahead of Denver in the AFC West standings. But when the Broncos "struggle" at home, they win by three touchdowns.

Nightfyre 10-29-2013 09:54 PM

Yea, the Redskins melted down. I give Denver zero credit for that win. Pathetic showing of football, which you would know if you didn't turn the game off at half-time you fairweather welcher.

CaliforniaChief 10-29-2013 10:17 PM

I think you have to be reasonable. Denver absolutely was impressive in the 4th quarter in all phases of the game.

That said, we aren't going to just roll over and die like Washington did.

We're disciplined, well-coached, mentally-tough, and play well together.

Cannibal 10-29-2013 10:21 PM

I think we lose at Denver. But, if we can keep it together and learn from it, we can beat them at Arrowhead.

Sound beating? Nearly embarrassed? How do you justify either comment in relation to how the games played out?

At no point in the game was the Browns game ever in question. We held a lead the entire game. While the offense lacks any sort of ability to put away a team, the defense is good enough that slim margins of victory are quite secure. The Browns had one good drive all game and executed a flea flicker for the other "drive."

The Browns third QB of the year threw for 300 yards and two TDs against the Chiefs. Manning is going to tear that team apart!

Manning will be taken off the field in pieces, Chiefs D will be making a wish on his neckbone.

I will enjoy KC beating the overrated donkeys in their house. It will be nice to put them in their place. The Chiefs DBs probably can't wait to feast on Mannings duck-launcher and the pass rushers can't wait to feast on your shitty tackles.

You better hope St. Manning doesn't throw another 3-4 INT's against the Chiefs D in a couple weeks, like he did against the Racial Slurs, or Denver fans are going to be the ones having a "long day".

Nightfyre 10-30-2013 07:48 AM

The formula for beating the Broncos is hilariously simple. Keep Manning off the field. When he is on the field, hit him.

If Manning throws 3 Ints and Chiefs do not have one turnover Denver still wins by 10 points.

Hootie the Denver troll.

Interdasting.

mr. tegu 10-30-2013 08:00 AM

The best thing about all of this is that the Chiefs "wretched" offense is going to put up their most points of the season against Denver.

Ravens - third most points vs Denver. 6 points above their average
Giants - second most points vs Denver. 6 points above their average
Raiders - second most points vs Denver. 3 points above their average.
Eagles - fifth most points vs Denver. 2 points below their average.
Cowboys - most points vs Denver. 19 points above their average.
Jaguars - second most points vs Denver. 8 points above their average.
Colts - most points vs Denver. 12 points above their average.
Redskins - fourth most points vs Denver. 3 points below their average.

On average teams score 6 more points than their average against Denver. So that means the Chiefs can expect to score at least 30 points since we average 24 ppg.

mr. tegu 10-30-2013 08:07 AM

I am just going to post this here as well.

Against Washington, Peyton Manning was 1-of-8 for 16 yards with two interceptions on passes thrown at least 15 yards downfield Sunday. Four of Manning's six interceptions this year were on deep throws. But his arm is fine guys!

If Denver loses Manning they are done. Yes and well you can say that for 90% of the NFL teams and their starting QBs. That isn't a whole lot of insight.

How about this

Brees goes does Saints are done
Rogers goes down Packers are done
Brady goes done Pats are done.

wow this game is easy. all you have to do is find an elite QB whose team is molded around him.

The Re****ns were playing a two deep safety coverage forcing Manning to throw underneath all game. He also has two sprained ankles and limited him from pushing off, I believe.

Oh yeah and Denver still scored 45 points.

Wow. So he's a riskier, less successful version of Alex Smith on 15+ yard throws?

Between Denver's _efense and Manning's arm and playoff track record, this team has one and done written all over it.

I'll take my playoff chances with the offensively challenged Chiefs, anytime.

A healthy and younger Manning would have had no problem with any of that. The Chiefs will play press coverage just like they did against Dallas and make Manning beat them deep, but he won't be able to do it. The Redskins didn't give up anything until they changed to the "play not to lose" defense.

Maybe. We'll see.

But I like my chances winning a game in the Wildcard round (if it comes to that) versus your almost certain second consecutive one and done exit.

Good luck in the playoffs . . . .

The re****ns played the same defense the whole game. Denver was able to make 1/2 time adjustments and ran more crossing routes in the 2nd half.

Ron Burgundy interviews Peyton Manning

As the football world has come to understand, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning stays busy during game week preparing for his upcoming opponent.

But he does try to loosen up during the bye week. On Tuesday, Manning sat down for a spoof interview with comedian Will Ferrell, who via satellite was in his Ron Burgundy character.

The interview will be played by ESPN leading up the Broncos’ game against the Tennessee Titans on Dec. 8 as way to promote Ferrell’s film, “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” that will be released Dec. 20.
