How is that made up? Isn't it what happened in front of a national TV audience?

Hell, the Bengals got ****ed worse than we did. They didn't even include a provision that a potential divisional with Cincinnati and Buffalo be played at a neutral site and it's literally impossible for them to get the #1 seed without strings attached. It would've been if they won the cancelled game and we lost to the Raiders.

It’s odd that they used the whole winning pct for Baltimore and Cincy, but won’t do it for us and Buffalo.

One team decided not to play a game. That simply is not true. The Bengals did not want to play that game. Nor did the Bills.

I don't see any reason why these wouldn't pass.

Characterize it a different way if you want, but there are plenty of reports now that McDermott is the one who told Taylor that they couldn't proceed that night.

I wonder if we will get to see who voted what. Also wondering if it is a simple majority.

Literally the only difference between this and a forfeit is the AFCCG site. That's it.

And if the Bills had somehow beaten the Bengals, this is a much better outcome for us.

If you had told me when the game was 7-3 that we were given the option of playing that game out and taking the outcome OR having a chance to beat the Raiders and get a bye independent of the outcome of Bills/Bengals while potentially sacrificing a home AFCCG for a neutral site, I would've taken that in a heartbeat.

That's the calculus.

I’d rather the Bills come back and win that game instead of some dumb arbitrary crap the league spits out.

I’m sure they’ll be thrilled that some team like the Colts or Falcons that couldn’t field a playoff team is going to get all the revenue from hosting a championship game.

PHOG 01-05-2023 09:07 PM

I'm sure Clark Hunt's ecstatic about losing an AFCCG.
