Don't even try to compare MP with Sherman. Sherman may have similar views but he is articulate and smart and can express himself. Even people who disagree with him will still listen to him and engage with him a walk away feeling okay about him.

Well I really hope we did better then a 2nd. I know he was a pain but he was also a baller and ballers win games.

So I’ll start by saying you are the consummate douche. Everyone has worked with someone like Peters and everyone has met someone like you. And you’re a douche.

But - I do agree with you that KC *probably* wouldn’t embrace someone like Richard Sherman. Handle? Meh. Sherman is outspoken on social issues to a degree that a lot of people who have old school (read: closeted racist) leanings might find offensive. I dislike Sherman because of arrogance, not because of the social beliefs he shares. This is the “shut up and dribble” stuff LeBron is dealing with but LeBron isn’t self-righteous in the same way.

Peters is a different character. Never verbalized his issues. Was always Peters against the world. Was a complete wildcard. If Sherman is kneeling for the anthem, it’s for well-thought-out beliefs. If Peters is doing it, it could be for any number of reasons. Peters never tried to have a conversation with KC fans - he just wrote them off in the same way a lot of Chiefs fans did to him.
