I hope that Glenn kicks the living shit out of Merle. That would make me happy. :D

Oh and yes, this show needs more color. I'm still wondering what happened to the guy and his boy in Season 1. I won't say what happens in the comics, but I hope to see them both come back.

Speaking of the comics, how did you like them? More than the show? Less?

I liked the episode a lot, that was the most extended action scene in the series. my favorite scene was Michonne chopping zombie craniums. I have to pick some nits though. It bugged me that Maggie took cover behind a flimsy aluminum filing cabinet and Rick took cover behind a wooden bridge that was 4-6 inches tall. They got away with it but that seemed really dumb. Rick would know better.

The governor is missing his right eye (most likely his dominant eye) and sniped the prisoner. that doesn't make any sense. how is he looking down the scope when the rifle butt is pitted in his right shoulder. the other thing that bugged me was in the previous episode. the governor was walking at a brisk pace and capped a zombie right in the melon while firing from the hip. apparently the gov's missing eye doesn't affect his depth perception and his long range vision. The he went full auto and couldn't hit anything. it's really inconsistent.

Thought so too. The patch was on the wrong eye. It shows him shooting with the right eye covered and then in the previews it shows him holding a match up to his left eye.

ya I noticed that too. Was wondering if I was just high.

You weren't? I'm a little disappointed. :thumb:

That was pretty juicy.

It was definitely ho him until Axl took the bullet out of nowhere.

Looking back, we should have known he was going to die.

Build him up so that we like him, than BOOM!

I didn't see it coming, though.

How did the Gov get a Steyr?

I think the Gov is so pissed off that he wants to turn Rick's group into Zombies to keep as pets.

Oh, I think the nerd was the driver of the truck.

yup

was kind of funny though how that fire fight consisted of 10 people who apparently couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a rpg.....

daryl has become the best part of the show, imo...you can always see him calculating the price of decency and loyalty in a post-human world, but he doesn't have to be hysterical about it

i just don't give a **** about rick's dead wife...everyone out there has lost somebody, but rick gets to go all Gary Busey on them...let's wrap it up, unless you're willing to take him over the edge

Merle's moving slowly into antihero territory now as I thought he eventually might. I suspect he dies at the end of this season, though, probably helping his brother/the group in the fight against the Governor.

One episode is enough of Rick stumbling around aimlessly in delusion, though. I hope this doesn't last much past this.

Agreed, I'm losing patience with this aspect of the show. Hopefully the firefight and imminent threat brings him back to reality.

I think Merle was sent by the Gov to infiltrate the prison.

I mean, I think we get the point already. This world and devastation it causes leads people to lose their shit. But when the effects of that involve the main protagonist stumbling and mumbling around for several minutes an episode about nothing while losing any sense of reality, it isn't particularly interesting television. Enough is enough there.

So, any guesses on how and when Tyrese and co. reappear?

A double agent of sorts, then. I think in the end his loyalties will fall with his brother (and therefore, his brother's group). He does care about him.

Did I see it right, and the driver of the truck ran into the prison area, past Carol? If so where is that person now?

When Rick eventually gets sane again, the group will probably have a conversation about needing reinforcements to beat the Governor. They then go get them back and Tyreese arrives to help protect in the prison in a war that will end the season.

Probably nothing more interesting than that for his re-entrance, but we'll see.
