Just got back to Des Moines. Even after a 3 hour drive, I still can accurately describe just how amazing it was to witness that game.

Most likely Vargas

I'm hoping for Duffy, but I could see them go with Vargas. At least we are in a pitchers park.

I'm fixing to read the thread now (all 73 pages at 50 posts per page) and can only imagine how some of it may read.
What an epic couple of sports days. Left home at 1030 Monday for the Monday night game and got home about 4am this morning (stayed in KC Monday night). Gonna be a long day....

Couldn't take today off, but I'm gonna be about productive as a eunuch in a whorehouse.

Awesome you were there shakes!

I really wish I had been there, but just started a new job and am in training, no way I could get out of it. But I watched the game with a friend that came over last night. Amazing game! We nabbed a couple SRO tickets for Sunday at around 3 AM last night.

Few things

1. Never been so excited at the ending of a game. I was to young to really give a shit in 85. Jumping around the living room with my wife like a bunch of crazy people. Can't believe we didn't wake the kids.

2. I echo what almost everyone else has said in this regard. You guys are awesome. I am so happy for the city. I can't wait to proudly display Royals gear around Phoenix tomorrow.

3. Icarus, you are the ****ing man! Never lost faith, not even for a second. Let me know how I can send you my casino cash. Next time your in AZ, lunch is on me

4. As far as I'm concerned, we are playing with house $ now, so let's go **** with the Angels a bit.

5. Never been so proud to be a KC fan as I am after the past two nights.

Agreed on all points, except #3. You can keep the casino cash. But if I ever go to Arizona, I just may take you up on that. :thumb:

I love how half of the team is already across the foul line ready to mob Perez before the run even scored yet

I can only hope I live long enough to get to experience the Chiefs version of that win.

If the umpires wanted to be assholes, they could have called an out and sent him back to 3rd base. Would have been a riot.
