NO IT WOULD NOT.

The Chiefs are in a window to win Super Bowls.

The Royals are 4+ years away.

Probably the biggest difference I can think of.

Except the Chiefs have had a winning record every year Kelce was here and the Royals are going to be cheeks with or without Perez

So apparently they had offers for Singer and Hernandez they just didn't get quite what they wanted and Miami offered the right players for Perez the money wasn't right so yea Miami wanted the Royals to eat some money which isn't surprising.
