Ah, okay. You're getting the same kind I do. Never mind.

Or are you running at 8.45 (speed) for 4 minutes?

ehh, i think i botched that. I run four miles at 8:45 per mile. My fault.

Why is it that on a fast day....I generally don't get hungry. Yet on days when I eat normally.....I'm hungry as **** 30 minutes before I usually eat. And water isn't helping right now.

Stupid mind!

I was supposed to fast yesterday, but I had to go to a meeting with our builder and architects at lunch. They brought hummus and a spinach dip for the meeting. I felt rude not eating, so I blew my fast.

I'm fasting today and Friday instead of my usual Tue/Thu.

I (and many others) experience this all the time. I'm sure there's a physiological reason for it, but I don't know what it is.

Simply Red 05-12-2010 12:04 PM

I'm re-fasting today, I blew yesterday w/ 2x snack sized doritos - nacho cheese.

Oh man I just went to the grocery store and loaded up on meat, cheese, and packaged salad.

I just ate lunch, which consisted of 2 cups of butter lettuce salad (lowest carb total out of all the packaged salads, 2 g per 2.5 cups), with 2 tablespoons of Bacon Ranch salad dressing (>1g of carbs per 2 tbsp), and had 1/2 a slice of cheddar, colby jack, swiss, and pepper jack.

I'm full as ****. I also had a 100 calorie cheese pack thing that kraft sells.

I'm at 543 calories for the day.

I'm going to work out in about an hour when this food settles then I'll eat some Turkey Burgers which are 160 calories each with 0 carbs. I'll add some cheese to that probably. Today should be a good day.

I find it hard to drink 8 cups of water a day, but I think I'm translating these 16.9 oz bottles of water to a cup. I'm guessing they are larger than that.

I drink at least 64 oz of water in a day. Go to Target and get their sugar free drink mix packets. Add 2 packets to 32 oz of water. It's basically like drinking calorie and carb free kool-aid.

Where I worry about a lot of you alls success is with Beer, aren't a lot on here, beer drinkers? That spells trouble for ALL of this program.

Isn't it better for my liver or something if I just drink regular water?

I will totally do this as long as its not harmful to my weight loss goals.

I love beer, but I can't remember the last one I had. I have bottles of Newcastle in the fridge that are at least 6 months old.

I did have two rum and cokes a couple nights ago, though.

And I like the occasional Bailey's on the rocks.

I've lost 31 lbs, I ALWAYS have at least 32 oz of beer per week. And by beer I mean BEER, not pisswater.

I would stick with water & lots of it. I've read that the artificial sweeteners can impede fat loss.
