I agree with Barry. Let's boot the Bucs from the playoffs while we're in the business of changing the playoff format mid-stream.

I dont see the vikes hosting the NFCC

So my ? is this, IF the CHIEFS advance to the SB, who do you want them to face? Eagles, 49er's, other? Actually trying to stay positive for this season. :thumb:

I mean, it'd be nice if the Giants somehow made it, but that's not happening LMAO. Honestly don't know. We'd have a dogfight with any of the three favorites slotted to come out of the NFC.

What are you talking about? They did. Turns out people didn't dig on the old coin toss thing a majiggy.

Time to move on, I don't think the Bills make the AFCCG anyways. Let's go kick some faider ass.

Having to make up new rules to screw the Chiefs over.

These are just guesses according to Zach...

Probably already addressed, as I am a couple of pages behind, but...

If we win Saturday, there's no possible way that the Bengals and Bills could play each other in the AFCCG. They could only meet in the divisional round. Which, by the way, should also be at a neutral site.

How do you figure? All that has to happen is for the Chiefs to lose and them both to win and they will play each other in the AFCCG.

How exactly are the chiefs being screwed over? Have I missed something the last 5 years Mahomes has played where we're vastly better at home vs away or something?

1. Bye week
2. Avoiding a pathway to the SB requiring victories over both the #2 and #3 seeds.
3. Hosting the championship game.

Sure, playing in Arrowhead is preferred, but the Chiefs are no slouch on the road and are far from invincible playing at home. Relatively small effect, all things considered.

The fact that they could have ****ed us worse doesn't mean they still didn't **** us. But I admit, I was expecting worse.

Sassy Squatch 01-05-2023 09:36 PM

So if it doesn't pass with a 24 owner supermajority we just hold #1 and HFA. Neat.

You don't think the league changing their rules a week before the playoffs to potentially strip the Chiefs of HFA in the AFC Championship despite having a better record than the Bills isn't screwing them over? I'd love to know what would qualify then.

Sassy Squatch 01-05-2023 09:38 PM

LMAO Yes, the Chiefs got ****ed by gaining control of the bye.

Who says? Clark better get his voting coalition together.

MahomesMagic 01-05-2023 09:38 PM

This latest update actually addresses my earlier concern that the Bengals would get a neutral site in AFC Championship game even if we won.

I don't think Buffalo will make it to the game anyway so I would be fine with this.
