It's won by guys who have awesome talent and intangibles.

By all accounts, these guys have both. And I really don't care if either guy sits on the bench and learns for a year because the Chiefs will be lucky to win 5 games in 2009, regardless of who's at QB.

Waaaay too many holes. Might as well start calling them the KC Swiss Cheese.

This. Who cares if they play next year or not when our ceiling is Perfect Mediocrity (8-8)?

No. ChiefsPlanet scouts are much more qualified than guys who have worked with Brady, Bledsoe, Romo and Warner.

No, the point is that Stafford and Sanchez appear to be on the same talent level as these guys when they started in the NFL.

The results may be different, but this is the only way to base our judgment.

Well shit I don't drink so no wonder I don't understand this.

Was there an Echo?

Just f*&^ing with you Mecca.

On a side note, did Pioli hire the head coach and QB coach? That had a lot to do with Brady's success.

Does anyone know?

I find it "funny" that you'd even bring up this comparison.

LOL, the Pats in many ways were the exception they had the billion to 1 shot QB, just thinking that he'll try and build a team again that same way is asking for failure.

I agree with most of your point but that still didn't answer my question. If they pass on the QB's doesn't that say more about the QB's than it does about Pioli\Haley?

I would think so.

This is what I don't get. I agree that obviously Pioli and Haley understand the importance of a franchise QB, so if they pass on one of these guys, there must be a question mark there...

I guess that includes Belichick as well then right?

The true fan base really comes out in those situations.

That's what I'm getting at. Did Pioli hire the staff that developed their key players or was the staff in place when Pioli got to NE?

Big question.
