Players and coaches know that you cant do shit without a qb and the simple fact that we trotted out a guy with a jersey and a #7 doesnt mean we have a qb.

That is ridiculous. Why did Chris Chambers re-sign with KC then? KC hasn't had a decent QB since Trent Green but seems to have no problem signing FA's every offseason.

I don't disagree with this statement at all. If he really wanted to re sign with KC it would've been done immediately. He played the field, and came back to the team that would give him a contract IMO.

Nevertheless, I'm glad he's here and saying the right things.

Not necessarily...especially if he made it clear that KC was where he wanted to be, then there would be no hurry to get a contract done but only to get it right for both sides.
