I live in St Joe now so I've got that down without issues.

Is there a problem with the stores in St Joe and cold Boulevards? Coming from KC not a problem.

Pretty easy to find around town. Living in KS I got to have the privilege of partaking 3.2 Boulevards. Now that I'm not lost with Dorothy anymore, I can have the original!

Hyvee is my usual stop, it has a good selection of domestic and imports with decent microbrews to choose from.

That Hyvee is where Tiny and I stopped last year on our way up from the airport.

Pretty decent selection for a grocery store.

I take it grocery stores in Missouri aren't limited to a certain alcohol content like in Kansas?

Colorado and Kansas are the only states I know of that do that.

Nope. Yet another reason why Missouri is better. :p

It amazes me how many people actually buy their beer at a grocery store in Kansas as well. Number 1 it has less alcohol content. Number 2 it actually costs more than liquor store beer that has more alcohol content. Number 3 see numbers 1 and 2.

I lived in Highland / worked in Hiawatha so it sucked when I did have to pickup some brew while there. Family lived in MO so on my way back across I'd always stock up on the good stuff.

Found out later that if I was ever stopped, and because of really stupid laws, I could have been prosecuted for transporting across county lines.

I've even heard planes, in the past, while flying over KS couldn't serve liquor or even let you possess it after being served while over other states.

Not sure if the last part is true or not, I wasn't around during the Howard Hughes days.
