They would love to but it's not effective. See how easy it is to jump up on Wayne Selden and get in his face. He'll jet past you in the blink of an eye. With the contact rules it's even harder this year. This only happened because a) Smart was involved and b) Selden was effectively pinned by the sideline allowing no clearance.

They call the elbow foul all the time and everytime people get confused. They don't allow it, period.

I don't even know why I'm wasting my time. Please just read and stop talking. It will do you some good. The rule is all dependent on CONTACT. There is no "He was swinging his elbows around" foul.

So if this is the case then why in the TN KY game did they go to the monitor and reverse the call to a no contact no call? Anxiously awaiting your answer
