Yeah, I really don't care what the stat line said last year. He's a ****ing clown at the plate and any success he's ever enjoyed is the byproduct of the sun hitting a hungry rat's ass.

In less than half a year, he's logged at least two classic moments to the canon: swinging (poorly) at a pitch that hits him, and making a diving effort on a ball that a competent outfielder catches and taking it off the nuts.

Mother****er is the single most worthless sack of shit on the field. Every night.

Because David Lough actually isn't very good. He's a 5th OF type at best.

Aoki was and still is a decent one-year gamble. He's got a good history of getting on base, runs well, and has been a good defender. He was a 3 win, above-average player the past two years.

It was a nice pickup. Just isn't working at the moment.

we needed power. it was putting a square peg in a round hole at best.

That's the stat test, but does he pass the eye test? Hell no.

Shut out by the Royals?

Embarrassing.

Not this year, he doesn't.

I saw him a bit in Milwaukee his first year. This is not the player he was then. I don't know if it's a slow start, he's uncomfortable in KC, or he just aged in a hurry, or what.

Statistically, he was pretty awful in May after being exactly what we expected in April. He also has been terrible on the road while being a .750 OPS player at home.

As do I, it will be exciting to visit Busch Stadium west again.

Did you enjoy the games there on October 26-27, 1985?

No doubt. What did we score? Six runs?

That's a pretty amazing feat.
