Pretty sure it's the guy that raked in 100+ million dollars as a pro QB for over a dozen years.

Mahomes might end up "doing it better" when his time is up, though. :D

Brady. Manning. Brees. Rodgers. Favre. Roethlisberger. Etc...

They all make their teammates better. They raise their game and make their value appear higher than it really is.

That's not Alex. He's good when the help is there around him, he won't mess things up... but he isn't going to elevate their play in the most critical moments, if ever. When the inevitable injuries hit, he can't continue to execute at a high level with the backup players.

Reality.

I would bet $50 straight up that the all-22 will show a lot of Alex misses in the 2nd half.

ALex smiths bar is low, thats true

But the only reason people are using THAT bar is because of people like you sucking ALex's dick so hard

we all know he will do MUCH better

but as long as he is simply better than smith, for $12 million dollars less...I'll be fine with it

This. Some guys have "it"

Alex has never had that. We have all known this for 12 years...Its time to see if Mahomes has "it" because personally I think he has that factor

Nah **** that. Win enough games to get to the postseason, and win there too.

It's understandable that a young QB can't always do this... but THAT is and should be the bar for all hopeful fans. Wins... and playoff wins.. and SBs.

Nice job going fetal in a clean pocket on a 3 man rush when we needed you the most, Alex.

There was absolutely no pressure on that play

Ragged Robin 01-07-2018 12:56 PM

Are you guys seriously comparing a rookie in 2017 to a rookie in 2005? QBs those days were no where near as NFL-ready as they are today. No shit Mahomes will immediately floor anything Smith did in those days.

A better comparison is if Mahomes will be more like someone like Kaepernick or Newton who were equally as raw coming into the league. I have no doubt Mahomes has better character and accuracy than those two though.

Im pretty sure 50 million per playoff win is the highest price in history and his legacy will go down as one of the biggest dissapointments and expensive game manager QB's of all time

but hey, you run with the 100 million dollar thing!

LOL

that really says a lot about what you currently think of him... :)

'member when it wasn't fair to judge Alex until he had three years in the offense?

Ooooh I 'member

I noticed that yesterday when I played it back directly after it happened! Don't know why he took off so soon? I never did see a shot that showed if any of the WR's were close to getting open or not?

We will have to look at the all 22... on a 3rd and long in a 4 down situation I think he identified early it was man coverage and wanted to break free for a nice chunk play to get the first or make it 4th and short. It would have made him look like a genius.
