I think some guys on here think Clark takes joy in cutting really good players for making horrific decisions. I can't understand how Clark Hunt in anyway should be painted as the villain here.

Because winning football games is more important than anything else. There really wasn't much of a choice here. The NFL and the Chiefs should have taken care of this in February when it happened. They didn't and now, with the video, they had to act. It sucks but what alternative is there? The number of people that think he should never play football again FAR outweigh the number of people that think what he did was no big deal.

What if the full video is released and it show her striking him multiple time before he hit back....

I dn

I just really believe releasing him was a mistake

Then your own argument is shit. You are relying on people who are fighting a PR battle, but yeah let’s trust the NFL and Chief didn’t have access to a tape that the authorities had

I'll say it again. You're a ****ing lunatic.

^this^

I could be scrappy in college if challenged at a bar. Once I got out of college and had a job, I realized that I wouldn't have a job if I was arrested, therefore, I would defuse any situation and walk away... I had too much to lose.

100% agree. People miss the fact that this is a BUSINESS. I’ll say it again, if you were ceo or boss, khunt is fired every day of the week.

Your side of the argument is no less emotional. You've chosen to believe that Hunt didn't lie and the Chiefs are just doing this to save face.

That's certainly possible. It's also possible that the Chiefs simply won't condone being lied to and cut him because of it.

We'll never actually know the truth. The only thing left is to jump to conclusions, which you have clearly done just as those you are accusing.

Because it makes your favorite team worse. At some point, look in the mirror and admit you're a shitty person too.

Do I wish Kareem Hunt didn't do that? Of course. But like anyone who isn't a pro athlete in that situation, it wouldn't have taken 10 months for me to be fired for it.

So you believe the NFL actually saw that video and decided to cover it up instead of suspending Hunt, even though they throw out multi game suspensions based on questionable accusations and heresay? NFL would be really ****ing stupid if that's what they did.

TMZ has a history of doing shady shit to get videos.

The shooting at the Fort Lauderdale Airport a few years ago, a police officer was arrested for illegally leaking a video of the shooting to TMZ that they released to the public.

We are only seeing part of what happened, they had the video and investigated the incident along with interviewing the parties involved and decided not to do anything with it. It then was turned over to the prosecutor and they didn't do anything with it either.

This is completely different than Ray Rice where he was actually charged and knocked his woman out and drug her out of the elevator.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Ryan Miday told USA TODAY Sports that the office – which typically only handles felony cases – is not currently pursuing charges against Hunt. A search of the Cleveland Municipal Court online database does not show any pending case involving Hunt.

I can't disagree, but I have to trust the Chiefs know more about what they were dealing with...

They were right with Peters, and after the incidents with Hunt in February and again in June, I'm sure they believe they are right again...
