I'd like to see the hold and defensive hold at the end... don't think they showed either of them.

The NFL over the last 2 years got way more serious about telling networks to not have announcers crapping on calls or showing a bunch of questionable replays.

Very rarely are bad calls pointed out now

The real issue is that the NFL is too ****ing cheap for full time refs and a ref union. So they trot out these garbage refs who ****ing bag grocceries mon-fri and ref on Sunday.

This part-time ref shit needs to end.

That's probably what's happening but I think it's also possible that a ref has money on an outcome or they are told "we'd really like a high scoring game"

It also extremely possible that refs make dumb decisions and then triple down on them, that's just human nature

Take your pick. Your guess is as good as mine but the fact is: a very small amount of people made a SHIT TON of money directly attributed to questionable (borderline complete bullshit) calls/non calls.

I’m sure the Chiefs should send that into the league office. Keep these pricks out of the playoffs.

It's just a regular season game.

If this happens in the playoffs like it did in the Superbowl I will get pissed. It sucks, but it's not a huge deal.

Which goes to show how about the officiating was in the Super Bowl last year…it was about all they talked about during half.

It very likely cost us #1. I see that as a kinda huge deal.

I bet NFL officials have accounts on every team's boards and they go to the losing team's boards just to laugh. Why not, there's nothing any of us can do to fix it, and the few people who can't simply will not, they're getting what they paid for.

Sports officials are a protected class, they can do anything they want and don't have to say anything, they know they won't be touched, questioned, or even publicly evaluated.

That being said, there was that one official who jobbed the Saints, he was crucified publicly. But that was a one-time deal, a little too blatant, and officials being questioned like that won't happen again until it's THAT obvious.

This makes me like Burrow more. He knows what happened in that one.

Burrow is a baller. No hate on him today.

Cincy got their bump. Almost every team gets their bump at some time. Chiefs have gotten bumps before.

It sucks bigtime when we are playing the team getting the bump.

In the end it doesn't matter where the Chiefs are playing, it's what kind of crew they draw to officiate.

It really does come down to that.
