I mean, that works for me. New weapon at full speed in the playoffs? Yeah, that works for me.

Why not. It costs 575k and what I'm assuming would be a low pick.

DTVietnam 10-16-2022 05:54 PM

Were gonna end up with Robby Anderson

VAGOMO 4 LIFE! 10-16-2022 05:55 PM

MVS had zero yards today

We need both. I'd take Burns and then try to sign OBJ later in the year though.

But our WRs are ass man. None of them scare defenses. If Burns is too expensive, we have to get Moore.

I'd take either for sure, we need to be more explosive on offense or improve our pass rush drastically to beat the Bills this year. Our WRs do suck but Pat still had 340 yards. We can get by there but we literally do not have an even remotely viable edge rusher right now. Dunlap is your best guy and he was literally on the street headed in to camp.

We need something, that's for sure. Tonight showed me we are still more than capable of playing on the same level as the Bills, we just need another piece or two.

We knew this season was going to be that way but most figured Mahomes was great enough to overcome it.

Karlaftis is a Pre-Season HOFer, and that's it until proven otherwise. He needed to show up today and didn't

Shit, go get Moore and Burns. They can have our next 2 1's.

bigjosh 10-17-2022 08:47 AM

Moore just signed an extension. Not sure how they take a 35m cap hit for trading him

It wouldn't be a $35 million cap hit.

They'd accelerate $19 million in signing bonus onto their cap. But only $5 of it would hit this year and that figure is already calculated into their cap hit for this season so it's no harm, no foul.

They'd take a $14 million dead money hit on NEXT season's cap but they'd cut a $20 million base salary from it. So they'd actually clear a little bit of cap space next season and in the process get some draft capital to rebuild (while further clearing their books for 2024 and beyond).

They'd consider trading him because that $20 million in guaranteed base salary next year is fairly onerous for a team looking at a really tough cap situation in the midst of a rebuild.

If someone steps to the plate with the compensation they're seeking, it'll get done. And I think a Brown level deal gets it there.

I get it and I’m wary of the injury history too but he’s played all 6 games and put up good numbers with a circus of a QB room and a doofus for a HC running the show…

No way in hell I’m giving up something crazy for him but a 2nd or something like they? Yeah I’m seriously considering it…he’d be a demonstrable upgrade at the position and the shit they could scheme up with him would be amazing.
