#1 in pass block win rate I'm pretty sure I heard yesterday.

I can't comprehend how you would let Donovan Smith walk in the offseason with how well he's playing. I get that you can't pay everyone, but there has to a reasonable 2-3 year deal somewhere they can reach. I am just so calm with him playing LT. I barely have to look at him, which is exactly what you want in the position.

Orlando Brown being gone makes me breathe a lot easier. Same with Wylie for that matter, but not as much as Brown being gone.

Mahomes had time to make a sandwich in the pocket against Bosa and Mack yesterday. That would have been unthinkable with how they shredded our line in Week 2 last year.

Wylie blows goats? |

Moreover, Wylie was the toughest guy on the field in the Super Bowl. It was interesting, I listened to a podcast after the Miami Philly game, and they talked about how when an team with good lines just comes at you all game long it wears good teams down. That's Philly's gameplan. And our OL, Wylie in particular did it to them. That salty ass bitch was ****ing finishing every block. I'll always respect him for that. Dude was a menace in the Super Bowl. He blows goats, but I appreciate him. |

Both Bengals tackles are not only graded higher (subjective bs) overall and in pass block grade, they've also both given up less pressures than KC tackles, 26 to 45. Combined penalties? Chiefs lead 16 (3) to 2 (0).
But please wax poetic about how great they are at PBWR (useless and mis-named stat) when they're blocking for a guy that holds the ball longer than all but 5 QBs and just happens to be probably the 2nd or 3rd hardest QB to sack. Fact of the matter is, your tackles are hot shit on a stick and it's only Mahomes magic that keeps them from being talked about that way. The mess you find in cans behind your local Chinese restaurant is better than Smith and Taylor. |
