Ray Lewis murdered two people, fled the scene, obstructed justice with false statements, and paid a $250K fine for it.

It's crazy that it's been almost 16 hours since the accident and Rice is still missing and we have no ****ing clue the severity of it all.

Regardless of how this plays out, if the Chiefs weren’t planning on taking WR with their first pick they might be now. They’ll likely hedge against the possibility of not having Rice for some portion of next season, as well as assuming his behavior is concerning enough to indicate that another incident could come up in the future forcing them to part ways with him.

He has good separation.

I went to all 4 of the Dallas TV websites about 15 minutes ago. Fox, ABC, CBS, and NBC. None of them even have the accident as a storyline. Nor the police looking for Rice.

He ain’t missing. It’s Easter Sunday and news will be slow. You can bet he already has contacted the team.

I’m not getting the craziness here. I saw a news report blurb on Twitter saying no serious injuries and only 1 person even hurt.

This got me thinking; what if Rice is the victim of a car jacking / theft and is bleeding out in some Dallas street?

I doubt the Chiefs get rid of him assuming nobody is dead. He could be facing a suspension no doubt, but as a first offender how severe would it be? No way he’ll do jail time either.

I know two different guys who've done this. One took out two telephone poles and a tree. Weren't at the scene.

Never a thing happened. "They didn't know their car was stolen."

Now, they were both scumbags with bad karma and ended up with different DWI's in the end but.....somehow both escaped being charged. And they weren't rich.

What if he evaded the cops all summer then got arrested when he showed up for camp in St Joe?

Good luck topping that camp entrance.

The thing that occurred to me was Jalen Carter. Granted, his incident happened before he entered the NFL, but someone was killed in that incident but that didn't stop the Eagles from taking him in the top 10. But he's not going to jail. I would think that Rice won't face any jail time. But he'll get a suspension. 4-6 games I would assume, which will suck for the Chiefs. I would think that's worst case scenario. Best case is, he wasn't driving and can prove it. Not likely, but we can hope.
