The midfield and defense are atrocious. You need a speedy guy on the defense and we just don't have it. The passing, the touches, and the reaction to the ball are just late and not good. Watch premier league and the quality is just so much better from the top teams in that league. International play is going to be different but still the quality to compete isn't on the US men's national team.

I was actually talking about this the other day. If you took all the mlb, nfl, nba, nhl athletes and made them view soccer the way the rest of the world does, we would be #1.
