Chet with 18 points (4/5 from 3), 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks in 13 minutes or so in the first half. Pok just off shooting, but looking really solid at the point forward slot. Giddey has gotten so much stronger. Both Williams looking solid as well and Dieng has as few buckets.
|
Man, Chet's going to be a tough guard. Dude cruises end to end and pulls for 3 on the routine.
Edit: LOL, some badass tried to take it to the rim for a thunder dunk and chet sent it back. Chet assist to Giddey for 3. Damn. |

Oof. 7 footer with a Lisfranc? NBA career probably significantly altered before it even really begins
|
The Lakers traded the one semi-useful young player they had for yet another aging asshole.
Talen Horton-Tucker for Patrick Beverly. I am so very glad I pulled the ejection handle on this team when I did. LeBron's signed an extension so they seem to be inclined to double down on just being a pack of hateable mercenaries. Guess I'll be back in a few years. There's just absolutely zero reason to be interested in this franchise. |
I imagine after what happened to Chet you can bet every contract will have language in there about not playing non NBA games like what the NFL does.

Might as well go trade for Draymond Green and Grayson Allen while they're at it. I just don't understand how they can keep doubling down on this. I guess they just don't have much choice. |

So they'll have a max slot to go sign 31 yr old Kyrie Irving and just continue the fossil mercenary parade. |
The rumored next move for the Lakers is Westbrook and picks to Pacers for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner. Lots of smoke coming with that one.

Hard to believe ol' buddy is 30 years old already. I'm guessing LA would have to include at least the '27 first and probably the '29 as well. They just don't seem to give a **** about ever being good again past 2025. |

At least they're looking at dudes that can spread the floor and shoot. Instead of, you know, pairing LeBron with ball dominant dues that can't shoot. Like at all. Sorry for you as a fan man. I mean, I don't know if it's Squirmin Herman Mother****ing Sack of **** Edwards level bad, but it's bad enough it's not worth discussing. Sorry bud. |

But this could be the best case scenario. Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes! |
And the Knicks weep

Draymond suckering guys in practice, which I guess is no real surprise. The NBA/the Warriors won't be able to avoid punishing him for this one now that the video is out. |
I'd say a 1 year ban but the Watson 11 game suspension really lowered the bar in professional sports.
|
Your boy James will have no chance with the Warriors still sticking around in the WEST.
Seriously though this video looks damming towards Green. I wonder what the context of the conversation is about. That punch is seems shameful just watching it. |

Man.
The Lakers have just made it so very VERY easy for me to continue to stay away from them...

Darvon ham has his work cut out for him man. The lakers and russ. Just watch russell westbrook on this play. pic.twitter.com/hyHqVw9UwM
— Jamal Cristopher (@JamCristopher) October 4, 2022
And the Tweet is about Westbrook - but take a look at LeBron there. Just chillin' on the perimeter hoping to run out... I don't know how anybody actually roots for this team. I hope they lose 60. I mean, they won't, but the fact that they'll be completely irrelevant in the title chase brings me joy anyway. |

As far as Westbrook, I can't imagine he will even still be on the roster by mid-season. He'll certainly be benched and/or released. I can only assume they are still starting him right now because they're hoping they can sell some other idiot team into taking him on by trade. No other team is anywhere near as stupid as they are though. |

Remember when he turned down $80 million a couple years ago? Well hey, at least he's made almost 1/5 of what he would've made over the last 2 years... OBJ would be wise to remember that for every Aaron Judge, there's a Dennis Schroeder. And for every Ronald Acuna, there's a Stephen Piscotty. If you're gonna bet on yourself, you'd best understand the odds... |
