I really hope that if Hunt gets rolling Andy just let's this guy off the chain.

I don't want to see shit like that last drive against the Texans where Hunt rips off like 30 yards on 2 carries, and then we just HAVE to call the cute bullshit, lose yards, and go pass, pass, fg.

Just bludgeon them to death until they can stop him.

Probably not going to happen if Thuney lines up at left tackle.

Oof. I mentioned that during the game. Hated that sequence.

You rip off two big runs back-to-back, your next playcall has to be another run or a play-action deep shot downfield, not some bullshit ass swing pass or some dumb shit.

Vegas is not wrong often. At all.

Yeah I was surprised when it was middle of the week and it was still kc -1.5. Majority of public has been on buffalo per covers.

Vegas expecting a big payout tomorrow

Yeah. Our running game hasn't been good all year and it's compounded by the fact that Andy pretty much thinks running the ball is a gimmick, going back to Philly.

Keep thinking about the Chiefs running game when Mahomes is torching you for 350 and 3 TDs.

They really didn't impact the game much when we were actually in Buffalo. Other than to get some players fired up because they were getting hit by snowballs.

Kinda funny chant thing they kept doing in the stands behind the Chiefs bench:

"PAAAATRICCCCK!!!!"
"PAAAATRICCCCK!!!!"
"PAAAAAAAAAAAAATRIIIIIIICCCCK!!!!"
"YOU SUCK!"

I have sometimes wondered if the deafening loudness causes as many problems for our defense as it does for the offense in the Spags scheme. But they keep asking for it so I keep yelling.

Good morning, CP members. I'm a Bills' fan of 37 years and have been following your site for the last 6 years as basically a casual observer; more so when our teams play each other. I feel like both CP and Two Bills Drive have mostly the same makeup of members/fans. CP & TBD members can post some good info or opinions, as well as some over the top comments. We love our respective teams, I get it.

However, I finally had to become a member of CP in order to reply to this posting, which I felt is not entirely true. If you read the comments from this posted link, it is being extremely cherry-picked. I, like almost all of the members of TBD, are not at all 'extremely confident' in the upcoming game. KC is currently the league standard of success and has been for years; they're the current champ, have a chance to 3-peat, and have had our number in the post season. I think this the best version of the team the Bills will field against KC in the playoffs but until we can finally 'slay the KC post season dragon', there is no overconfidence, I can assure you.

Good luck this Sunday, and may the best team win.

Nice thread on TBD, clown.

Your forgot about the punt intentional safety. Either way, YPC doesn't matter for a pass first team like the Chiefs. You run the ball to set up the pass, keep the defense honest and use on short yardage. We have the best back...the best one...on gaining a yard and not losing one. Just because he cant get you 15+ very often is meaningless with how we play.

Rapp out for Bills, Benford remains in concussion protocol
While the Kansas City Chiefs have few injury worries entering the AFC Championship game, the Buffalo Bills will definitely be missing one starter.

Safety Taylor Rapp is out with a hip injury after he left the 27-25 Divisional Round win over the Baltimore Ravens in the first half.

Cornerback Christian Benford suffered a concussion in the game and while he was limited this week, he remains in protocol.

It's actually a very incomplete accounting of yesterday's news. Benford skipped practice yesterday, so did not log a FP all week. Likely this is the Bills subverting the concussion protocol which requires a FP, by saying it was made not possible due to his personal reasons for missing practice.

What we're waiting on today is he has to be inspected prior to being cleared to travel to KC. If he gets on the plane today, he's playing.

That's even more confusing actually.

If 70-80% of the money is already on Buffalo, then the line should be moving toward them, not away.

The bookmakers feel like they're about to make some serious dough on the Chiefs.

Doesn't matter if Christian Benford plays or not...in the last game, the score was 23-21 late in the 4th quarter and the Bills put together a GW drive with 4 mins or so left. They got a gift touchdown off Mahomes bonehead INT in the first quarter and we were playing uphill from there and still kept it close. No turnovers, we win.

I ran into him at the COSM in Los Angeles when we played LAC (Dec 8th) and discreetly asked his SB prediction (it was just him and I). His exact words “KC will beat Philly”.

He’s a great dude for sure. Remember, media needs to create controversy, they truly can’t say what they really want to say. We should know this by now lol.

Receiver group is pretty much equal for the 2 teams. But he's not wrong about the offensive line & running backs. James Cook is more explosive than the Chiefs RB group. Buffalo OL seems to do a stronger job in both the run game and pass protection.

But this isn't the first time KC has gone against teams that might have the better roster on paper. They've won a bunch of Playoff games where that was true, including 3 Super Bowl games.

I've always felt like those analyses of rosters always sell Mahomes short. He's far better in crunch time than people realize.

I dont know about equal. I’d take KC’s WR unit and pass receivers overall.

I’d take KC’s CBs and KC’s S. I’d call the Lb a push. Bills have the advantage on OL and I would call the DLs a push, too.

The idea that the Bills have more talent … yeah,
No, not gonna buy it.

Any time I see a tie, I give the edge to the single best player.

LB? Maybe still a push but I’d go KC.

DL? Jones is the single best DL from either team, so I give KC the edge.

I would say the team in general is pretty clutch. Back in the 1990's, the Houston Rockets head coach Rudy Tomjanovich said people should never underestimate the Heart of a Champion. His team was repeatedly underestimated, but they won back to back NBA championships. I see a very similar kind of spirit/heart in the Chiefs roster.

This isn't remotely true.

Chiefs have the 53 best players in this one.

The next best 53 are all Bills.

Cowherd picking wrong is a tale as old as time. This is perfect.
