Yup.

Maybe they can get a low pick for him, like they did with McGee

That may have to be next year unless Stanzi/Quinn can come to the rescue... and one of them just might.

I'm not pissed at the draft, all the picks make some sense and can be rationalized. We're not blowing it out of the water, though, like those teams. Our draft in 3 years could look great but right now I'd give it a C+. What we do in round 5 could bump it up to a B-.

Two Arky WRs gone. When will the 3rd go?

chiefs1111 04-28-2012 11:08 AM

Jarius Wright to the Vikes. wish the Chiefs had taken him instead if they were gonna go WR

He doesn't add any dimension we don't already have, IMO. Breaston does better what Wright would do.

Let me clarify.

A 5' nothing WR is not a legitimate deep threat with Matt Cassel as his QB.

Skins on the clock. Take another QB!

I agree with this. This isn't an impact draft per say, but it gives us quality depth which is needed.

Everybody seems to be thrilled with Pittsburgh's draft over in that thread. What exactly did Pittsburgh do defferently that we did other that take names that were more recoginzable?

McNutt makes ZERO sense. Why would you add another 6'3" 4.55 WR?

Kellen Moore is sitting around with nothing to do....

McNutt makes sense for a team like Indy or Redskins.

With their first 4 picks, the Steelers have taken 3 players I had going to us, just not in the same order. I had us taking DeCastro, then Ta'amu, then Spence. There's a reason why the Steelers contend for championships almost every year while we haven't won a playoff game in almost 20 years. . .

I said in that thread I don't like Pitt's 2nd & 3rd picks.

I think Mike Adams is stiff, struggles with speed rushers, and isn't exceptionally strong to be a road-grating RT.

Sean Spence is ok, but he's not very fast and he's not a thumper. He wouldn't unseat DJ and doesn't make sense in Belcher's position.
