If I was you, I'd suggest NEVER burning a bridge. Bitches have a way of coming back around. Especially when they figure out "they ****ed up". It might be a couple months, a year, or even 10... do your thing and let them see it. At that point you're free to grudge **** the old feelings out of them or make a go of it.
