Momentum is hard to stop. You could also tell their defense was gassed.

Bosa looked like he was about to collapse. The guy must eat nothing but Taco Bell.

Not a single called running play on the last two Chiefs drives… the only run was the Mahomes scramble.

And not so coincidentally those were two of the best drives of the season.

Time to embrace their identity as a pass first/often team and dump the mediocre running game with JAG RB’s.

Weird seeing a guy with Bosa's intake capacity not getting enough air

Did we already talk about the play where Mahomes sees Hardman open at the 2 and just decides to scramble a bit and finally throw it to another player (Edwards-Helaire?). It looked like Hardman was open and Patrick just chose not to pass it to him on what would have been a walk into the endzone. Did I see that wrong? WTF happened on that play?

No no no no no.

The Chiefs are a power running team with an elite quarterback...

Coaches and players have earned some celebration and rest. But - Things I’m sure coaches will be looking at: why was our run defense ass? And why could we not run the ball against a shitty run defense?

The air has a much longer path to the lungs.

I haven’t been negative on the running game this year, but tonight it was a ****ing abomination against a bad run defense. That was horrible. Clyde looked terrible but our OL was so mediocre.

Yes, it would be one thing if we had good RBs. We don’t. Let Mahomes throw the ball down the field and take the good with the bad because the good with him will almost always outweigh the bad.

The lack of a running game was disconcerting. The Chargers have a poor run defense. The Chiefs are supposed to have a good OL.

But not on 4th and inches. Throwing it 30 yards across the field was a bad idea. Obviously terrible execution by Patrick, but a bad idea in the first place. Let Bell or Kelce do a QB sneak on 4th and inches.

In the gameday chat everybody was so jealous of the Chargers offense and how they could run at will on our COVID'd defense.

Interesting how all that running did jack squat for them when it mattered. INCLUDING on 4th downs.

Easy answers… run defense struggled without Chris Jones and Gay.

The Chiefs run offense struggled because they have a bunch of back-up caliber RB’s at best.
