TE Blake Bell is signing a 1-year deal with the #Chiefs. The Belldozer won Super Bowl LIV with Kansas City and finds his way back to the organization after a season with the #Cowboys.

Making blockbuster moves!!!

We have won the Super Bowl every year with Blake Bell on the roster

Like I said I’m sweating a bit about LT. Veach is going to have to give something up now to get it.

Either a trade for Dilllard or Brown Jr or a trade to move up in the draft.

I would have zero issue trading a future 2nd + other picks to move up to get Jenkins or Cosmi.

Walker Little is okay but he has played in half a game since the end of the 2018 season. Would ideally like to get his legs under him and not just throw him out there week 1

Makes sense if we might need to help our tackles more potentially. Get a TE2 who can block well.

Although I’d like an athletic option too in case of emergency.

I think Keizer is going to fit that FB/H-back role more than TE.

Why would that annoy you at vet min?

Because he’s a waste of a roster spot at this point. You can’t count on him for anything.

I think he’s an Anthony Sherman replacement too. We didn’t use a FB too often so it shouldn’t be a big deal

OK. So going in to FA we had Allegretti, Niang, LTD, Rankin, And Durant.

We added an absolute Stud LG, which allows us to use Allegretti at Center or RG, then added Long to compete at RG and maybe play some RT in case of emergency.

I understand the concern at LT and Center, especially when just days ago we were dreaming about Williams and Hudson but come on. I have no doubt that the Chiefs will look to the draft for long term solutions at the Center and Tackle positions.

This is the beginning of league years, not the beginning of the season. You have to give the front office space to work it’s not a ****ing TV show where Kevin Costner is banging some hot chick in the front office and trading away all his draft picks.

Funny how Williams went from all pro best LT in the league to 33 year old cancer survivor the moment we didn't sign him.

Because they know deep down no team is actually going to draft like that and they're worried that Veach is going to sit on his hands and do nothing (which is in the Lexicon, BTW).

I'm in this boat as well. It's like when the Williams deal fizzled out the buck stopped there. Who knows, maybe something is brewing we don't about but either way, it makes me nervous.

The 6-year, $138M deal he got is relevant and contextual.

We’re obviously just going to carry $25 million in cap space over to next season.
