Howard Eskin of 610 WIP in Philadelphia reports that Eagles MLB Stewart Bradley will miss the 2009 season after tearing his ACL in practice Sunday.
Bradley isn't a household name, but he was getting there. It's a huge blow to the Eagles, a popular preseason Super Bowl pick. Bradley led the team in tackles last season and was poised for a leap as a second-year starter. Omar Gaither, who has started in the middle before, is his likely replacement. Gaither is a downgrade in terms of both run-stopping and big-play ability.

The Choo Choos can't recover from that.
