Did we already talk about the play where Mahomes sees Hardman open at the 2 and just decides to scramble a bit and finally throw it to another player (Edwards-Helaire?). It looked like Hardman was open and Patrick just chose not to pass it to him on what would have been a walk into the endzone. Did I see that wrong? WTF happened on that play?

Maybe doesn’t trust Hardman to catch the ball. He was definitely looking at him.

I would have thought Nnadi and Reed would be a formidable run stopping unit but they got gashed a few times. I think we felt the loss of Gay quite a bit in the run game, which doesn’t look good for Hitchens.

It's a real concern. The 1 yard ones against garbage fronts will always put pressure on Patrick.

Patrick being Patrick has a higher probability than anyone to overcome it - but to not even have the ground game as an option is really disappointing with our Golden God of a QB.
