I personally don't give a **** if he said gayhawk. He's not the first and won't be the last, but I can see how people could be upset, it just doesn't upset me.

Problem is he said it on TV, it's one thing for a rival fan to say it at a bar or something, it's quite another to say it on TV as part of your job. I highly doubt any of us would go into work in a formal meeting or environment spouting off about purple pussies or slavers. But ultimately that's what he did. He is at work, supposedly being a professional, and said stupid shit.

So what does everyone know about Florida? Are they still jacking 3's like nobody's business? I haven't seen them play this year.

And if we struggled with Colorado on Saturday...we are REALLY going to struggly in Florida.

I predict loss #3.

It was always going to be a tough non conference year. A young team playing this tough of an early schedule is going to result in some losses until they learn what their identity is. They are getting there.

Ideas on the best place to get some tickets to a game that won't cost me my first born?

Florida is coming off of a last second loss as well. They have two starters returning and will be at home...emotions will be high there tonight.

It is going to be a tougher atmosphere than Colorado and against a more talented team.

Meh, they've lost consecutive games like once since 2006, yet this shit gets said after every loss. Teams play up/down to their competition and a single game isn't that great of an indicator of future results.

That said, like Plow said, it's kind of expected this year anyway, even though it's kind of dumb to rule them out just because they lost their last game.

Im not ruling them out because of there last game....but you cant discount how they played in there last game.

They will have to play much better because tonight's game is going to be tougher than the colorado game IMO.

I don't know how you can discount their play of the last game...You have to hit your FT's tonight.

No. We really only have one deadly sharpshooter (Frazier). Kenny Boynton and Erik Murphy are gone.

Inside we have Patric Young & Will Yeguette but are missing Damontre Harris and Chris Walker.

Our strength is at SF with Casey Prather beasting and Dorian Finney-Smith starting to get into things.

At PG we are hurting as both Wilbekin and Kasey Hill have been injured.

We're talented, but have had too many missing pieces. The team you see tonight will be very different come March.

Thanks. Hopefully it is a decent game. I wouldn't worry about the PG, KU can't play a lick of defense, yet.

Hopefully KU is different in March too.

Embiid gets the start today

ROFL That didn't take long.

I'm really surprised Black isn't better as touted as he was coming in. I think it was the first game I said he's just a big body.

I like it.

I like the experience and playing time Mason and Embiid are getting this early.

KC_Connection 12-10-2013 04:05 PM

I'd probably bet on Florida winning this game. They're better than Colorado. But if Wiggins gives more of the same effort as last time and Embiid can somehow stay out of foul trouble, KU should have a good chance to pull off the slight upset.

Can you really say you're "missing Chris Walker?" That's like us saying we are missing Braeden Anderson.
