I hear that all the time but it simply isn't true. The EPL has Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. La Liga has Barca, Real Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla. Yes, Barca and RM have been dominant the last few years but that doesn't mean that the other teams are crap...

I will concede that the EPL is slightly deeper, but don't pretend that Bolton and Wigan and Stoke or even Everton are any better then their Spanish counterparts.

The problem is that Americans tend to pay attention to the EPL and remain ignorant of La Liga.

In most other countries, sports betting just isn't a big deal.
