In what world does pointing out Taco’s good pass rush win rate last year equal “hyping up Taco so much”?

I literally said him and Danna could combine for 5 sacks “if he stays healthy”. That’s not exactly “hyping him up so much”.

It’s pretty obvious that he was cut because he couldn’t stay healthy, which I acknowledged more than once as a concern.

Hard to see this as anything but good news. Veach and Reid feel comfortable enough with what they know they have, that they don’t feel the need to waste a roster spot hoping that Taco stays healthy (which is very unlikely).

I like the player, but I’m glad that our DL is good enough that we don’t have to hope he’s available to play.

Curious to see if/who Veach brings in from other teams cuts.

Not gonna lie i never expected Taco to be gone. But he didnt look all that great.

Maybe another WR or RB. Can’t imagine bringing in any other position, unless it’s a super surprise cut.

Nobody that’s going to grab a starting role or make much of an impact.

Letting go of taco is further proof Reid is evolving and can change his ways.

Was Taco really the weakest link in the edge rusher group? I thought he was pretty skilled.

I think it has more to do with his inability to stay healthy than anything.

Although I’d argue Okafor has the same problem.
